Shy arrived in America, and on his first day here, he was introduced to Jessica at work. He saw her smile and immediately checked for a ring. Fast forward two months, Jessica roped Shy into illustrating her children's book. Our "dates" working on the illustrations led to a friendship, and another two months later on one drunken night together, Shy summoned up the courage to text (yes, text!) Jessica to let her know he liked her (although she already knew!). From that night on, we started dating. Two and a half months later, the pandemic hit which brought the two of us closer together. Working from home together, playing board games and cards, cooking together, bingeing TV shows and movies and doing absolutely nothing all at the same time was the perfect test for our lives together. Guess it worked! Two and a half years later, Shy suggested an afternoon at a pop-up carnival. Little did Jessica know that he had a plan all along. On the top of the Ferris Wheel, Jessica made a joke about standing up and rocking the car, and unbeknownst to her, it was the perfect setup to his proposal. "Well, If you really want to rock things..." and Shy pulled out the ring. Jessica said yes and we went round and around with excitement. Five weeks later as a first step, we got married in a short but sweet ceremony in our apartment with just family-- most of them on Zoom! -- which we called our Marriage. Now, we can't wait to celebrate with you all at our wedding (next wedding will be in Israel!). Get your dancing shoes on because we are ready to party!
