Rocky Mountain National Park
If you choose to go to the National Park, please take a look at the website. Trails may still be snow-packed and it isn't uncommon to have snowstorms in late spring. One of our favorite hikes in the park is Emerald Lake!
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area
If you're feeling adventurous and want to get some spring skiing in, Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin) is open into the early summer most years.
RiNo Art District
If you're looking for some local craft brews, Rino is probably the best place to go with over 20 different breweries within walking distance (or scooter distance) of each other. We highly recommend the Friek from Odell Brewing if you are looking for a sour!
Chautauqua Park
Chautauqua is a popular hiking spot in Boulder. You can find a great range of hikes there. Our personal favorites are the Second Flatiron (not for the faint of heart) and Green Mountain (although, it is technically not quite in the Chautaqua area).
Pearl Street Mall
About an hour away from Estes Park. Pearl Street has many shops, restaurants and bars. It would make a great stop on the way up to Estes. We met on Pearl at a place called The Walrus, but now it's known as The Spotted James.
Red Rocks Amphitheater
If music is your scene, take a look at the schedule for Red Rocks. It's a beautiful, outdoor music venue where you can listen to music and look up at the stars! A little further than most things, but it's an iconic Colorado venue.
Copper Mountain
Copper Mountain just announced that they will remain open through April, if you want to get some turns in.
