Wedding Party

As this is both Sean and Jessica’s second wedding, they have chosen to keep their celebration small and meaningful. There is no formal bridal party—just their sons, standing beside them where they belong. While the day is simple by design, the journey to this moment was anything but solitary. They would not have arrived here without the love, encouragement, and unwavering support of their friends and family. What follows is a small glimpse into the people who mean the very most to them and have helped shape the life they are celebrating today.

Griffin Gulino

Son of the Bride

Griffin, Jessica’s oldest son, will have the special honor of walking her down the aisle. At just 15 years old, Griffin is wise beyond his years, with a heart that reflects kindness, care, and quiet strength. He is handsome, talented, and thoughtful—someone who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. A self-taught drummer, Griffin has a deep love for music. He can often be found jamming to ’90s classics or discovering new sounds, always with a rhythm that feels uniquely his own. While he may roll his eyes when his mom turns up Boosie in the car, we suspect that—deep down—he knows every word. We are endlessly proud of the young man Griffin is becoming. Though we may lovingly credit him for a few extra wrinkles and strands of gray hair along the way, it’s only because he has filled our lives with so much love, laughter, and pride.

Collin Rogers

Son of the Bride and Groom

Collin is Jessica and Sean’s youngest child and the only one they share together—and he is truly what makes this day so incredibly special. It’s hard to imagine life without him, as he has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into their world. With his wild curls, bright blue eyes, and playful spirit, Collin is equal parts silly goose and little adventurer. This blonde-haired boy has a way of stealing hearts wherever he goes and they could not be more proud. Already, Collin seems destined to follow in his dad’s footsteps as the class clown and class favorite, spreading smiles and laughter wherever he lands. They cannot wait to watch him grow and discover the wonderful man he will become. Today, Collin will begin that journey in the most meaningful way—walking hand in hand with his big brother and his mother down the aisle, as she walks toward the man who is not only her partner, but his dad.

Rachel Kuhlman

Brides bestie

While we aren’t having a traditional wedding party, there are a few people in our lives who simply must be named—and Rachel is at the very top of that list. She is truly Jessica’s person. She has been there through life’s highest highs and lowest lows, has seen the best and the worst, and somehow still chooses to stick around. Weddings, funerals, vacations, births, brunches, good times and frequent questionable decisions. They come in a pair. Rachel is the definition of loyal. The kind of friend everyone hopes to have and no one wants to cross. I'm serious ... she will cut you. That said, she also has the biggest heart. The generosity she has shown is something this family will never forget. She is an amazing wife to “Uncle Monkey” (Matt) and a wonderful mother to Gage, who was Griffin’s very first friend. Their friendship began during a hurricane in 2008, which honestly feels about right, and it has been an unshakable part of Jessica’s life ever since. Rachel has seamlessly become part of Sean’s life as well—whether he likes it or not. Some friendships are chosen, some are destiny… and some just show up during a hurricane and never leave.

Julian Rogers

Son of the Groom

Julian is Sean’s oldest son and the very best big brother to all the boys. He is a proud LSU Tiger and a Catholic High alumni. He is the kind of son any parent would be endlessly proud of—kind, caring, witty, and effortlessly laid back. Julian is content in the simplest ways, complains about nothing, and asks for even less, which somehow makes him even more special. We are so proud of the young man Julian is becoming and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things his future holds. And while we do hope that one day—in the very far, distant future—we’ll be celebrating his wedding and eventually rocking his baby to sleep as Pawpaw and Birdie… there is truly no rush. Did we mention the far, far future?

Benjamin Rogers

Son of the Groom

Ben is Sean’s middle son, though he has somehow avoided the infamous “middle child syndrome” entirely. Independent, quirky, hilarious, handsome, and incredibly sweet, Ben has a personality all his own. He is a talented drummer, a gamer of epic notoriety, an expert in sarcasm, and has already mastered the art of perfectly timed dry humor. Ben has a way of making people laugh when they least expect it, often without even trying. Truly one of a kind, Ben is loved exactly as he is—and we wouldn’t change a thing about him. We are excited to see him grow even more into his own man. Having him stand by our sides as we are joined together as a family means the world to us.

Kyle Huff

Grooms bestie

Kyle and Sean have shared a friendship for over 35 years—a bond that distance, life changes, and probably a few questionable hairstyles have never been able to weaken. Even after relocating his beautiful family to Houston, their friendship stayed as strong as ever. Kyle is unbelievably talented, successful, and an outstanding father to three amazing kids. Sean could not imagine this day without him by his side—offering steady support, wisdom, and probably a few sarcastic comments along the way. Some things about friendship just never change.

Carol Boudreau

Matriarch

There is so much to say about “Granny.” Her steady presence in Jessica’s life—both as a young girl and now as a grown woman—has played a huge role in shaping who she is today. Granny is one of the greatest female role models Jessica knows. She is intelligent, brave, unconditionally loving, stubborn, and a proud Republican. She is someone people naturally look up to and strive to be like. She raised five children, eleven grandchildren, and now five great-grandchildren. Along the way, she taught us integrity, humor, bravery, Catholic guilt, a strong work ethic, how to make spaghetti sauce, and how to fold a fitted sheet. She taught us how to love generously with no expectations, how to be smart—and how to be smart-assy. She is truly a gem. Sean and Granny share a special bond as well. Even during the time when Sean and Jessica were apart, Granny always made sure to include Sean and encouraged Jessica to consider his feelings. Sean would visit her while she was caring for Collin during the first few months of his life, and she always considered him family. Since then, she has lovingly taken Julian and Benjamin in as her own grandchildren too—her list just keeps growing. We would not be the people, or the couple, we are today without her.
