Emily

Maid of Honor

In the fall of 2016 a young desert dweller and her husky made their way across the country to attend vet school in Massachusetts. When they arrived they were overwhelmed by the sheer mass of greenery, the fickle weather, and the long, often lonely nights spent studying. Thankfully, Emily had also made the mistake...I mean excellent choice, to go to vet school, and after some Facebook stalking had decided to be my roommate. With many nights spent watching Law and Order SVU, countless first-snow romps with Mila, and a fresh pot of coffee every morning Em gave me the gift of constant, loyal, and honest friendship. I certainly wouldn't be where I am today without her.

Elaine

Officiant

Our love story comes full circle with Elaine as our officiant. On a Thursday night in Tempe, AZ she invited her college roommate and a film school friend to a two-for-one happy hour, unknowingly introducing the two lovebirds she's about to marry. We'd like to think she's enjoyed being friends with both of us through the years, and we both have received support, unconditional love, and endless laughter from our friendship. There's no one else we would rather have making it *official*.

Todd

Best Man

Two peas in a pod. That’s always been Todd and I. He’s the sibling I’m closest in age to, and it’s been an extraordinary gift to grow up always having a best friend around the house to get into trouble with. We even got to spend one glorious season on Varsity soccer together. Most of the highs and lows of my life have happened with Todd around, which is great because he’s a lot of fun to celebrate with, and even better when you need a pick-me-up. Todd’s as stand up a guy as there is, and a hell of a role model for someone a few years behind him. Here’s to more IPAs, more cigars, and more laughs.

Liz

Bridesmaid

You don't get to pick your sister-in-laws, but if you did I would have called dibs on Liz! She's an empowering role model for me and I hope to emulate the warmth and strength she provides to her family. With her by my side I know I have someone who's always in my corner and will be there for me as we start our own journey into marriage.

Leah

Bridesmaid

Moving out to MA, starting school, and maintaining a long distance relationship was difficult, but it was made easier having a friend like Leah to lean on. I will always be thankful for the time we spent out at the Sole Proprietor, the nights trick-or-treating with her family and the many G&Ts on the porch. Oh, and did I mention, we also get to be sister-in-laws!

Chris

Best Man

Seven years separate Chris and I, and that’s been reflected in all the best and worst ways throughout our lives. Growing up as young kids Chris knew how to do all of the things I wanted to do, and he was eager to teach me everything - how to fish, kick ass on a soccer field, and build forts in the woods. As we got older the age difference seemed more apparent. Chris was in high school and I was in grade school, and our interests became worlds apart. I thought he was a bit of a jerk, and he thought I was an annoying little kid (I was). A few rough years there. But then he went off to college, I grew up a bit, and our mutual interests and love for each other realigned. Funny how life works itself out like that. He’ll always be my big brother, but now when we’re together we get to teach his four sons how to fish, kick ass on a soccer field, and build forts - what could be better?

Rebecca

Bridesmaid

Rebecca's superpower lies in the genuine and deep love she has for her family. Whether I've needed a 5am ride to the airport or a couple drinks at Rapscallion she has been there without hesitation. I'm truly lucky to have such an amazing woman as my future sister-in-law.

Mitch

Best Man

It’s bound to be nerve wracking meeting your girlfriend’s brother for the first time, but the moment Mitch got into the car and started blasting Phantom of the Opera I knew he was a kindred spirit. Very quickly Mitch went from feeling like Jess’s brother, to a good friend of mine, to my brother. Being on opposite coasts means I don’t get to see him as often as I’d like, but when we do get to visit each other it’s all good laughs, good conversation, and brotherly love. I’m incredibly grateful to have him in my life and by my side on wedding day.

Jordyn

Bridesmaid

Jordyn makes up half of my oldest friend(s), my twin cousins. She is bold, creative, and inspires so many other women to follow their dreams. Our childhood was spent making dirt pies, creating fantasy wizarding clubs, and battling each other in Pictionary. Now, we spend more time drinking wine and sharing charcuterie boards, but every so often the Wizard comes out of us. She also makes the best damn fish sandwich I have ever had.

Tayler

Bridesmaid

Tayler is the other half of my twin cousins, and has been my absolute rock the last couple years. We both moved to LA at the same time and her optimism, grace, and infectious joy has made it some of the best years of my life. She is truly the most joyful person I know and I can't wait to spend more nights cooking meals, sharing drinks, and watching scary movies together.
