This is a site worth seeing if you have not before. Make a day out of it and explore the many wineries in Niagara on the Lake. This is a beautiful area to also spend a night or two for those extending their trips. Please note that there are no trains that go to Niagara from Toronto. The best way to travel would be to get a rental car. Another option would be to book a day trip that would leave from the city centre.
Prince Edward County
Prince Edward County is a charming getaway known for its beautiful vineyards, local art, and stunning lakeside views. It’s home to Sandbanks Provincial Park, famous for its massive sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. While it’s about a 2 to 3-hour drive from here, it’s well worth the trip if you want to experience some of Ontario’s best wine country and outdoor beauty. It’s a bit of a drive from here, but well worth it - whether you choose the popular Muskoka region or head further north to stunning national parks like Algonquin or scenic spots like Tobermory. If you are willing to travel a bit further than a 2-hour car journey, Canada has so much to offer! Heading west to Banff means flying out to experience breathtaking mountain landscapes, stunning lakes, and unforgettable outdoor adventures. For a closer trip, Montreal and Quebec City are easily reached by flight, car, or train, offering rich history, incredible food, and unique French-Canadian culture.
