Darius married into ‘the family’ by marrying Jessica's best friend, Christina, 10 years ago.  He is a teacher in the Tacoma school district

Aaron is Jessica's little brother. Both Jessica and Christina were present and front and center at his birth.  Aaron is a counselor at the Yamhill County Juvenile Detention center.

Erika was Jessica's college roommate and one of her best friends.  She lives in Tacoma where she owns and operates Aggregate Analytics, a research company.
