We met through a mutual friend and became quick friends. Scott moved down South, Jessica moved back downstate after graduation, and we lost contact. We made our way back to the North Country at different times, but on November 15, 2025 we reunited for the first time in 7 years. 2 weeks later, Scott offered to have Jessica move in with him which she accepted. Before moving in, we officially started dating after knowing each other for 7 years. A month and a half later, during Scott's performance of "I Can Love You Like That" by John Michael Montgomery, he asked Jessica to be his wife, which she also accepted!
