Things To Do
Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad
Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad operates regularly scheduled trains between Gairbaldi and Rockaway Beach in the summer months and special event trains throughout the year over the rest of the line.
Haystack Rock
Haystack Rock is a 235-foot sea stack in Cannon Beach, Oregon. It is sometimes claimed locally to be the third-tallest such intertidal structure in the world, but there are no official references to support this. A popular tourist destination, the monolithic rock is adjacent to the beach and accessible by foot at low tide.
Cape Mears Lighthouse
Although the lighthouse is the shortest on the Oregon Coast, it still stands 217 feet above the water. This little beauty, lit in 1890, is found at the end of a U-shaped path. The paved walkway leads down to the lighthouse and passes scenic viewpoints along the way. Here, scattered around the headland, a handful of offshore islets make a cozy home for seabirds and marine mammals
