Jess is currently working very hard toward her graduate degree for counselling at Husson University. Jess is very dedicated to her work and her future as a counselor. I met Jess when she shadowed with me at our job. I respected her knowledge. I challenged her to do things on her own because I knew she was educated. When I first saw Jess; a stunning girl, she was so radiant. I knew I would never have a chance with this girl. I kept things professional. Later, she asked for a reference from me. I was more than happy to give her one, she deserved it. We took a chance. Now we have our own house and are getting married. We had obstacles in the way but I was determined to have her in my life. Jess is like a piece of pie that you want to savor for the rest of your life. And I can't wait. -Rob
Rob Shaw Jr

Rob is currently a case manager for veterans at Care and Comfort in Bangor. He is a veteran himself from the Army Reserve Unit 619. Rob is charismatic and goofy. He always goes above and beyond no matter the task, especially in their relationship. Rob is outspoken even when he shouldn't be, but that's one of the many things that makes Jess smile. Rob is always willing to do new things unless it requires him to eat sour cream! On the special day, Rob will definitely be missing his late father of whom he gained his name. Rob has 4 sons, a beautiful granddaughter and another on the way.
Kim Poors

Kim lives in Franklin on her own property with fiance Aaron, Maggie (dog), and the chickens...and occasionally a bear. Kim loves to adventure, especially on the four wheeler. Kim is a fun loving mother and is always there for her only daughter.
Katelyn Boyington
Maid of Honor
Katelyn is caring and quirky but hard headed. She’s been in the bride's life for only a few years, but it seems like a life time. Katelyn is the bride’s sister in their sorority at Husson University. Katelyn studied nursing while at Husson and now lives in New Hampshire with her fiancé Justin. When she isnt hard at work, She loves to have a good time. She is easy to count on whether it's for a good laugh or a really hard cry in the middle of a parking lot at 2am. Shes always there!
Amber Schreier
Bridesmaid
Amber is Jess' little from Delta Sigma Delta at Husson. They instantly clicked when Jess became her big. They are more alike then they would care to admit! Amber is loving but spicy. She might be short, but she has the personality to fill a room! Amber currently is studying marketing communications at Husson while working at a marketing company in downtown Bangor.
Autumn Young

Autumn is the Bride's oldest friend as they have been friends since the 6th grade at Hancock Grammar School. Autumn is an old soul with lots of laughter within. Autumn is so kindhearted. She'd be there in an instant if you needed her! Careful though, she might spill her drink! Just kidding, mostly... but she is one of a kind!
Ashli Pike

Ashli is also one of the Bride's sorority sisters from Husson University. She might be quite but if you push her buttons, she definitely bites! Ash is sassy and classy, always ready to watch some supernatural or hang out with the girls.
Nadean Gilliland
Bridesmaid
Nadean is a wonderful friend to Jess since high school. She's an artist from Ellsworth and currently works as the lead graphic designer for the Ellsworth American! Nadean has always been an inspiration to Jess, she even put her in her senior mural at their high school! She is very down to earth and is her own person all in all. Nadean can always be seen with a smile on her face and never adds judgment to your conversations!
Scott Vaillancourt

Scott works for Athenahealth in belfast. He is married and lives with his wife and three cats in winslow. Scott was in the army resreve in the same unit as Robert for 4 years where they became good friends over the many trips the army brought them on. He enjoys playing music and listening to all kinds of music.
Anthony Cultrera
Groomsman
Anthony is from Quincy Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor's of Art in Anthropology. Anthony started the Army in.... and met Rob in 2010 after Rob got back from deployment in Iraq, at the 6 19th Transportation Unit in Dexter, Maine and became good friends thereafter. Anthony is outgoing and willing to help out in anyway that he can. We are thrilled to have him a part of our special day.
Jake Keene

Jake currently works for the U.S. Postal Service and lives in Lewiston. When he's not at work he enjoys golfing, watching movies, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog. Jake met Rob while he was in the Army, really getting to know him while on mission to Louisiana and Wisconsin. Jake is goofy and outgoing and loves to have a good time. We are glad to have him a part of our wedding.
Loren Shaw

Loren is Rob's son, father of Riley, and husband of Catherine. Loren is caring and funny just like his father. He loves to cook and play with his beautiful daughter. Loren is a great dad and husband. Loren and Catie got married last summer and are expecting a new baby girl in the fall.
Martin Shaw

Martin is Rob's oldest son. Martin currently works at Dysarts in Bangor. He likes to cook, play video games and hang out with his brothers.
Chris Shaw

Chris is also Rob's son. He is getting married to Lyndsey in October!
Taylor Shaw
Son
Taylor is Rob's youngest son. He loves cars, video games and hanging out with friends. Taylor works on cars in the local area.
Riley Shaw
Flower Girl
Riley is Loren and Catie's daughter, Rob's first granddaughter. Riley is full of smiles and loves to watch Barnie and dance her heart out.
