After an activity-filled day and a desire for something casual, we stumbled upon Eaton Street. Housed in a converted old-school gas station, this place serves up a multitude of fresh seafood in a variety of ways that doesn't disappoint. Go to the counter, ask what's in season, and what's fresh. We did fresh tuna grilled on a sandwich.
The lifeblood of Key West. With plenty of shops, bars, live music, restaurants, and art galleries, there is something for everyone and plenty of hours to spend walking up and down the drag. Drinks in hand are encouraged! Don't forget to check out Gap Outlet, where you can see what J has devoted her life to. PLEASE BUY SOMETHING
The best place in Key West to sit and people watch. Located on the north end of Duval Street, Mallory Square has A+ sunset views.
If you went to Key West, and didn't have Cuban food or coffee, you didn't really go! We recommend Cuban Coffee Queen, Ana's Cuban Cafe, and Fernandy's. Get a Cortadito (hold the sugar if you don't like your coffee sweet!). We had a great time starting our day with breakfast at Fernandy's food truck, hanging with the local chickens and catching some early rays.
We went here for lunch, more than once, in one weekend. Specializing in Mexican seafood, be sure to try a seafood burrito, and definitely try the fish taco.
We spend an inordinate amount of time in bookstores. Check this cute and well-curated store out if you forgot your poolside mystery thriller at home.
