FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jessica Lynch and Richard White
We took a shot at answering any questions you may have since we are super busy planning this wedding! Please contact us if you have any further questions.
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Oh la la! Due to capacity constraints and budgetary reasons (COVID sucks!), we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Questions about children? Please see the FAQ “What about my kids?”

Question

What about my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating and budget constraints. We hope you’re able to join us and enjoy a kid-free evening with our close friends and family at our adult only wedding!

Question

Can I smoke cigarettes at the wedding?

Answer

Berkeley Plantation is a beautiful historic landmark and we’d like to keep it that way! To accommodate our tobacco friendly guests, there will be dedicated smoking sections! Please use the smokers urn provided in that section for your cigarette butts. If not, please note you will be staying late to help clean up and pick up cigarette butts!

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

What’s a wedding without a little liquid courage?!? Select beer and wines will be provided to our guests and tips are greatly appreciated. Just remember, the wedding will be heavily photographed so don’t do anything we wouldn’t do!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Of course there will be food! We will be providing Hors D’Ouevres during the cocktail hour and dinners There will also be a “Late Night Menu” available for guests to purchase after dinner! So bring your wallets because you never know when those munchies will hit!

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we’re sure you will love our food menu!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It’s a wedding, silly! Come dressed to impress. Please note a majority of the wedding and ceremony will be held outside and in grassy areas so wear appropriate shoes.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As you all know, we’ve been together for quite a while and have all of the essentials so we did not register for any items. Please feel free to gift us anything you’d like or there will be a card and HoneyFund donation box onsite!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Oh, there’s plenty of parking! When you arrive please follow the signs directing you to the parking area! For those with handicap needs, please contact us so we can arrange a closer parking spot for you!
