It was a music filled evening at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park with Donavon Frankenreiter singing in the background, when Raymond approached Jessica and said the very unique and never-used-before compliment of, "I like your hair!" Although Raymond's attempt to leave the show to go to another location didn't work, Jessica suggested they exchange numbers. They went on their first date shortly after and the rest is history!
