LOVED YOU THEN, LOVE YOU STILL. ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL. I love when people ask "how long have you been together?" or "how did you meet?" There's no one simple answer. We've known each other practically all our lives, and we've been together almost 5 years... this time. The important part is we are; and every laughable moment, every bump in the road and every tender kiss has lead us here.
A few days ago, I (Jessica) was talking to an old friend and seeing my ring, she gushed. "How exciting! Who's the lucky guy?" Since we knew each other in high school, I asked, "Do you remember Randle?" Sometimes it's hard to believe that I'm marrying the same guy I dated 15 years ago. But I guess we prove that if it's meant to be, love will find a way. But to me the important part of the story is when Randle got down on one knee in a gazebo in the North Georgia mountains and-not being one to mince words-simply asked, "Will you marry me?" And then he had to ask again, because-what with all my squealing, hugging, kissing and tearing up-I forgot to say, "yes." And, "it's about damn time."
