What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 1pm, so please aim to arrive by 12:30pm. This gives you time to park, catch up with family, and grab a seat before the celebrations begin!

Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding is at the beautiful Dodford Manor Dodford Manor, Dodford, Northamptonshire, NN7 4SR Everything – ceremony, meal, and evening party – will be held here. Check out their website: https://www.dodfordmanor-venue.co.uk/

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Dodford Manor has plenty of free on-site parking. If you’re staying locally, taxis or lifts may also be a good shout.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think smart but comfortable – it’s a summer wedding, and we’ll be spending time both indoors and outdoors. No strict dress code, just dress up and feel good!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the “I do’s,” we’ll head outside (fingers crossed for sunshine!) for a drinks reception with: Refreshing fruit punches A selection of nibbles including: Hand-cooked crisps Nacho corn crisps Salted peanuts Salted pistachios Savoury popcorn There’ll also be games to keep things fun while we take photos!

What about food in the evening?

There’ll be a buffet-style spread with freshly carved roast pork and beef baps, perfect for topping up your energy for dancing. Plus a sweet treat, and slices of our wedding cake (cut earlier in the day).

I have dietary needs – can you cater for me?

Answer

Absolutely, so does Jess. The catering team have done a great job taking care of everyone's needs. Just let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure everyone is well-fed and happy!

Are you doing any traditions?

Answer

We're keeping it relaxed – no speeches! But there will be a cake cutting, a first dance, and a father-daughter dance before the dancefloor opens for everyone.

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes, bring your party shoes! After our first dances, the party kicks off and we’d love you to join us on the dance floor.

Are you having a gift list?

We really don’t need any gifts – we already have everything we need. But if you’d like to give something, a contribution to our holiday fund would be appreciated as we plan a special trip together.
