We Got Married!

...wherever God chooses to bring you together! For us it wasn't at a bar or a social event or online...we met at a church-wide fasting service we attended on March 9th of 2019. I (Jessica) had prayed that God would sit me by whoever I was supposed to sit near that evening. I didn't know anyone, so I picked a row and started singing. Behind me I heard a strong male voice joining in the singing--it took me a little effort to pull my focus back to God! At one point in the service we were told to get in groups and pray for the city of Waco. I turned around, and there was Paul--we prayed together, and finished the service. After the service we realized we'd actually met a year before at a small fellowship group I'd visited once. We got to chatting, and he asked for my number. I (Paul) had wanted to ask Jessica out in 2018 after I met her at my fellowship group, but I didn't see her again till the night of the fasting service. I wasn't looking for anyone, but there she was, right in front of me! I didn't want to be "that guy" who asks a gal out at a worship service, but I took a chance, and she said yes. ...Almost a year later to the day, we are both saying "yes" to each other for good!
