An easy, scenic 6.5 mile loop with amazing coastal views in Carmel. Look out for sea otters! This is where Patrick proposed :)

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Monterey is ~15 minutes north of Carmel. Explore downtown, visit the aquarium, and stop by Alta Bakery for delicious pastries! Some of our other favorite restaurants include Cella Restaurant & Bar (American), Montrio (American), Alejandro's (Mexican), and Dustbowl Brewing (Brewery).

For a quieter getaway, head to Carmel Valley for wine tasting, golf, art, and/or great food. Our favorite hangout spots include wine tasting at Chesebro, brunch & hiking at Carmel Valley Ranch, and dining at Lucia at Bernardus Lodge.
