We’re getting married!

Our story begins when we were twelve years old. We were in middle school when Oscar and I met for the first time. Our friendship was complicated as Oscar would pick on me or the other way around. Within time we became close friends and he became my main chambelan for my quinceanera. As we went to different high schools life took us on different paths. Ten years later we started to communicate again on Instagram then a year later we saw each other in person. On November 16, 2018 we made it official as a couple until May 14, 2020 Oscar propose.

On May 14, 2020, as we were going through a pandemic Oscar decided to make a surprise date. It was random to me since our city was on shutdown. As we were driving on the empty 110 freeway, it was noticeable that we were going to Downtown L.A. We ended up at one of my favorite spots, Angels Knoll, its close to the public but if your sneaky enough you can get in. He rushed me out the car as he wanted to see the sunset from the hill. We made it to the top where there was a bench with peonies. As peonies are my favorite flower but thought someone must love them as much too. Next thing you know it, as I'm admiring the bench Oscar goes down on one knee. Out of shock I couldn't believe it and shouted "YES!" and we were engage. We're so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with you.
