We met 12 years ago working together at a Pizza Hut on the west side of Wichita. We became fast friends and always worked really well together on shifts, even when I would use my stern manager voice! Oliver admitted he always had a crush on me, however, I was dating someone at the time so he never got to shoot his shot. Oliver then decided to quit Pizza Hut after a period of time and we went our separate ways. Fast forward to the end of 2021-beginning of 2022. Our mutual group of friends from Pizza Hut start reconnecting. Oliver and I start seeing each other more often and start rekindling the friendship we had! After all these years it seemed like nothing had ever changed. Our group of friends decided to push us towards each other as they thought we would be the "ultimate power couple". And they were right! Oliver's first date was taking me to the thrift shop to find lame 80s-90s outfits for the roller rink event we were going to that night. We had a blast and I only fell a couple of times! We decided to make it official a month later. Fast forward to May of 2024. We go to Wilson Lake often to camp and we were out there for Memorial Day weekend with friends and family. Oliver decided to propose down by the beach area with a beautiful sunset in the background. And of course I said yes! Which brings us to the present. We're both very excited for this future journey ahead of us and excited that we get to spend the rest of our time with each other. We look forward to celebrating our lives with everyone!
