We first met at a breakfast restaurant in Mandeville called Rieger's on the Trace while Nick was in town from Pensacola to fix a sail boat for a friend. We had our first date that same night. We spent the evening driving around New Orleans, talking and getting to know each other. We have been inseparable every since!

September 30th, 2022 we went out to eat at one of our favorite places Old Rail in Mandeville, which happens to be very close to the place we first met. There was a fall festival going on, which we decided to walk through. While walking back, we walked in front of what use to be Reiger's on the Trace. Nick had us both stop and stated he needed to tie his shoe. He then while on his knee talked about the importance of this location because it is how we met and then pulled out a ring and asked the question "Will you marry me?". I of course shouted "Yes" and proceed to call our family and friends!
