When should I be in Bitola?

We are planning a welcome dinner on Thursday so we recommend arriving Wednesday this way you are jet lag free for the wedding!

How do I get from the Skopje Airport to Bitola?

Answer

The easiest way to get from the airport is by Taxi. Unfortunately we do not recommend renting a car the driving in Eastern Europe is a bit crazy and we want everyone to be safe. Once you know your arrival time please let us know and we can set up transportation for you!

How to handle the language barrier?

Answer

There is a bit of a language barrier but most people know English if they work in hospitality or any service industry. Both hotels reserved for the wedding are owned/run by fluent English speakers!

Bourbon - Local pub with bar style food Food Republic - Speakeasy behind a deli with great wine Millennium - Great lunch or dinner spot Korzo - Traditional Macedonian Food (sometimes with live music) Ravenna - Great dinner spot Gala Garden - Right next door to Hotel Artelo Aero - Mihajlo and Jess's favorite coffee spot Boulevard - Amazing Bakery Turkish Sweets shop - Best Baklava ever There are a ton more options but these are some of our favorites. Note: The language barrier on menus! Example: grilled chicken breasts are referred to as "chicken steak".
