From the Venue: Our venue is "Middle Cross Ranch". This is a private property in Golden, CO that is a real-time functioning ranch. Ernie and his family have graciously let us use this ranch, but it is not an official licensed or insured venue. We ask that you please respect the ranch property and the animals that are on the ranch. Guests may observe farm animals from outside the pens. Guests shall not touch or feed the animals, and are not permitted to enter or open any of the animal pens. The ranch and the Nichols/Mast/Dolezal families are NOT to be held responsible for any injury or damage to person/property that is acquired during the ceremony, reception, or any other wedding related activities. The property owners reserve the right to remove anyone from the property they feel necessary. By submitting an RSVP to the event, you understand and accept the terms of these policies and all of the forthcoming "important information".
You can set your GPS to 16342 W 54th Ave, Golden, CO 80403 which is the house next door. There will be signs on the street to direct you into the ranch.
Last call is 9:30PM, music will stop and lights will come on at 10:00PM. This may seem a little early but local noise ordinances means the music has to stop at 10:00PM. The venue has asked that guests leave by 11:00PM. If the night is still young and you are looking for more fun, downtown Golden is only 9 minutes away!
Since the venue is a functioning ranch, the ground is uneven. Please consider wearing stable shoes or bringing an extra pair of shoes. If you have mobility issues, we will do our best to arrange for a golf cart or side-by-side to transport guests from parking, to ceremony area, to reception area.
Parking will be provided at no cost at the ranch by the animal pens and horse arena. This is about a 2 minute walk to the ceremony bowl. Additional parking is available at Fairmount Park which is a 5-10 minute walk into the ranch and on the street if needed. We will have parking attendants to help guide you to your parking spot.
This is an outdoor wedding. We will have tent coverage but there will be no A/C.
Our dress code is Semi-Formal. We kindly ask that you do not wear black as we would like to keep bright colors for our bright and beautiful day!
Yes. Kids are welcome. If you have kids, they have already been accounted for on the guest list. When you RSVP, please select your kids' names from the list as an additional guest if you choose to bring them.
