Black tie preferred. We’d love to see tuxedos and evening gowns, but most importantly, come ready to celebrate! For the ladies, we kindly request darker colors or jewel tones for the occasion — think sapphire blue, emerald green, plum or a deep ruby red. These shades will complement the evening atmosphere beautifully. Please avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, champagne, or any similar light hues traditionally reserved for the bride.
Please arrive by 5:00 PM to be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.
We have a room block at the JW Marriott (must book by 5/29/2025), which is just one block from the ceremony and reception (see the Travel tab for booking details). That said, Chicago has no shortage of great options—there are over 150 hotels in the downtown area alone! We recommend looking in the Loop, River North, or West Loop neighborhoods for the best proximity to both the welcome party and wedding festivities.
We won’t be providing transportation, but luckily everything’s super close! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all in one place—just a quick one-block stroll from the hotel. For the welcome party in River North, guests will be coming and going at different times, so feel free to grab an Uber, Lyft, taxi, or hop on the CTA. Getting around Chicago is a breeze!
There’s no parking directly at the venue, but there are plenty of options nearby! If you're staying at one of our hotel room blocks, parking is available there. Otherwise, several parking garages are located within two blocks of the venue, including: Tower iParkit Garage – 211 W Adams St SP+ Parking – 208 S LaSalle St 183 Monroe Garage – 181 W Monroe St We also recommend using apps like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to reserve a spot in advance. They're super easy to use and often offer discounted rates at garages throughout Chicago.
Chicago in late June is usually warm and sunny, with daytime highs around the mid-70 / 80s°F and cooler evenings in the 60s°F (18°C).
We’re so glad you asked! Chicago is truly a best-in-class city, and we’ve put together a "Things to Do" page with all our favorite spots, including restaurants, coffee shops, attractions, and even scenic walking routes. Fun fact: Chicago has so many restaurants that it would take over 7 years to eat at them all if you dined out 3 times a day and never repeated a place. So come hungry, and let us help narrow it down!
Yes, of course! We wouldn’t dream of celebrating without one. Open bars will be flowing at both the welcome party and the wedding. Hydration never looked so good!
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors. The welcome party will be on a rooftop, weather permitting, so bring a light layer just in case.
Please refer to your invitation to see if a guest was included. We wish we could invite everyone, but space is limited and we’ve tried our best to include as many loved ones as possible.
