Marko and Jessica first met when Marko interviewed Jessica for a part time position with Chicago Sport and Social Club. Jessica immediately had a huge crush on Marko but kept it a secret until later that summer after a few Corona Lights at an after party for City Chase. As soon as Marko found out he asked Jessica on a date and the rest is history.

Marko and Jessica were in Belgrade, Serbia visiting Marko's family for a couple of weeks. Marko had decided to take Jessica to see Kalemegdan, a beautiful fortress overlooking the River Sava and Danube. He found the most breathtaking spot and had asked his sister, Mary and cousin, Sanja to take a photo. While getting ready to pose for the photo, Marko completely surprised Jessica and got down on one knee. It could not have been more perfect!
