Historic Downtown Charleston
Walking around downtown can be fun own its own! Check out Rainbow Row on East Bay, Waterfront Park, the Battery, and the beautiful historic houses on the southern peninsula. Charleston offers guided walking tours, as well as ghost tours at night!
South Carolina Aquarium
A great indoor activity to learn about the local ecosystems of Charleston!
Charleston Tours - Brewery and Winery Tours
If you want to check out the NUMEROUS breweries in Charleston, consider a tour or hop around yourselves. There are several breweries in walking distance from Edmond's Oast, in North Charleston.
Brittlebank Park
A great place to catch the sunset! This is where Jessica and Marc had their first date and where they eloped.
Sullivan's Island Lighthouse
If the weather is nice, consider a walk along the beach. The Sullivan's Island Lighthouse Tower is where Marc proposed to Jessica!
South Carolina Stingrays
Our local hockey team, the SC Stingrays will be playing home games on Friday and Sunday. The games are super fun and Marc and Jessica have had many dates there.
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
A beautiful garden to walk around, a swamp trail, petting zoo, and a lot of history. As a plus, it won't be very crowded in January.
International African American Museum
A new, beautiful museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the stories of the African American experience across generations
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
Explore the military history of Charleston and tour the decommissioned WWII air craft carrier
Shem Creek
A creek lined with bars and the best sunset views. Check out the deck at Reds to see dolphins swim by, the tiki bar underneath Vickery's for chill vibes, or head to Shelter for the best rum punches (Category 6).
The Charleston Museum
A great indoor activity if the weather is bad. Learn about the Lowcountry's history and check out their natural history exhibit.

Marc's favorite surf shop and where he buys literally all of his clothes!
