We have reduced our guest list to 50 people (maximum) which includes ourselves and the wedding party. Our guest list is comprised of wedding party and immediate family only. We have switched from a buffet to plated menu and our caterer is following state and local guidelines for safety. Masks will be provided to each guest so that we can all be coordinated for pictures :) Chairs will be spread out at the ceremony to ensure couples/guests are safely distanced. The high risk portions of the wedding (cocktail hour, dancing) will take place outdoors and we request masks be worn when not eating or drinking. Each guest will receive a personal hand sanitizer and there will be at least one, maybe multiple sanitizing stations throughout the venue! We kindly ask that you do not attend if you have any concern that you may have symptoms of COVID-19. If you are not comfortable attending the wedding we completely understand and want you to feel no pressure to explain yourself!
As much as we would love to promise a second big celebration when COVID has "cleared up" - there are still so many unknowns about the future. We hope to celebrate with each of you in smaller groups at some point and know you will be with us in spirit on the big day! If we can get our act together we will set up a zoom to live stream the ceremony with you! Please check back a week before the wedding for updates. Lastly, if anyone booked hotel rooms or plane tickets in advance - we truly apologize for any inconvenience the change of plans may have caused you. We wanted to send an update sooner but we were hopeful that we would not have to reduce our guest list.
We love your kids, but we are limiting our guest list due to COVID. With the exception of the wedding party, we request you leave the little ones at home.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
