When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We prefer to have a final RSVP confirmed or declined by February 15th, 2020!

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

We will be sending paper RSVPs with the mailed invitations, but this wedding website is also fine!

What kind of dinner is being planned?

Answer

We will be serving a buffet style dinner for the reception. The contents of the buffet will be finalized closer to the wedding date.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend "semi-formal". We want you to be comfortable but go ahead and dress to impress and make a night out of it! As the wedding is in April, the weather may be cool so dress accordingly. As long as weather permits, the ceremony will be held outside.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome, but we recommend leaving them at home in order to enjoy the night fully!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is available parking at Venue Chisca and around the Washington St. area, however, another wedding will be going on next door and will fill up quickly. We recommend taking a shuttle or car service to the ceremony/reception. Note: also be cautious of parking in surrounding parking lots, as some owners have been known to tow wedding guest's vehicles when not permitted.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Pere Marquette provides first-come, first-serve shuttles to and from the ceremony until 10 pm. We also recommend taking a car service (i.e. Uber or Lyft) if you are planning on drinking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to start on time, so please arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to find parking and seating.
