When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better, but no later then 9/1/2025. Unfortunately, any RSVPs received after that date cannot be accommodated.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have addressed our invitations to the people who we would love to join us on our special day. If you have received a +1 there name will be added to the invitation envelope. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we kindly ask that only the children who have been formally invited to our ceremony attend. We have also chosen to have a child free cocktail hour and reception and are offering child care and transportation for children attending the ceremony at a location 10 min away. The historical venue that we have chosen for this event has a limited capacity and for other safety reasons we have chosen to restrict the number of children attending.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, I have one listed under travel and if I’m giving a heads up, I can book it with a discounted rate

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The technical answer is no, however, most of the bridal party are willing to accommodate and find transportation if needed.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Just a cute fact, the bride will be wearing her grandmother’s dress from her wedding in 1957.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors will be open at 3:45 for guests to start arriving. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:15 at which time the doors will close and will not reopen until 4:45. Any late arrivals will not be allowed to enter until after 4:45.

Do you need any advice or direction on how to plan?

Answer

Nope. We’ve got that covered 😊 We know exactly how we want our wedding and as much as we love and appreciate the people we are inviting, we actually prefer that our wishes just be respected. We have taken everything into account and the decisions that we have made reflect the vision we have for our wedding.

Who should I contact with questions about the ceremony or reception?

Hi, so the the most common questions asked have been addressed here but the best person to contact is going to be Nikki Kemp. She is the day of coordinator. Jessica and Lawrence will have so much going on in the months leading up to the ceremony and they kindly ask that all questions be directed to Nikki. She is available via text or phone call. What is the expected attire?

Answer

It is a rustic/western theme, however we ask at minimum for cocktail attire.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes 😊 we are offering an open bar with many different cocktails, wines, and beers to choose from. Please feel free to tip the bartender.

Will there be an area to smoke or vape?

Answer

NO! This is a historical site and there is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed.
