May we bring the children?

Answer

While your children are dear to our hearts, please note that only those specifically listed on the RSVP are invited to the event and will have a reserved seat at our reception.

Will dinner be a buffet or plated?

Answer

Plated. All guests will be served a two-protein entree.

May we explore the museum or grounds?

Answer

Guests may wander in the garden and around the cottage during the reception; however, the museum will be closed. You may purchase a ticket and explore the museum earlier in the day, prior to the event.

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Yes, but the venue does not allow shots or neat drinks to be served.

May I smoke or vape outside?

Answer

Due to the property being a federal building, smoking is not allowed on the grounds. A guest would need to exit the building and relocate to the parking lot to smoke or vape.

What’s the parking situation?

Answer

The Richard Nixon Library & Museum contains its own private lot with ample free, self-parking.

How about phones?

Answer

While we understand wanting to capture personal photos, we kindly ask that all phones be put away during the ceremony to allow our talented photographer to beautifully capture every meaningful moment of our special day.
