02/04/2012 We met in high school, through mutual friends. One night, while our friends group was hanging out at a park, he started playing a few bands I had never heard of before - I loved it so much that he offered to burn a CD for me! It was the wrong band, but it started the conversation that would lead us up to this very point!

06/03/2018 We were on a vacation with his family in California (Disneyland, Universal Studios). In line to get beignets and mint juleps, he wanted to take a walk with just the two of us to find a good picture spot. I was surprised but also stoked since he's not much of a picture-person! We got to the side of the castle, where the waterfall and dwarfs set-up is; an unplanned Disney photographer started taking pictures and he did the thing! I was so shocked I didn't say "yes" right away - but eventually, I did!
