Willamette Heritage Center
Open: 10am-4pm Wednesday-Saturday Tour this beautiful historical site where we are getting married. This beautiful 5 acre museum complex preserves the history of the mid-willamette valley through historical buildings, exhibits, and archives, this includes the 1841 Jason Lee house and the Thomas Kay woolen mill.
West Hills Vineyards
Hours Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-7pm, Friday-Saturday 12pm-8pm Our vineyard is more than just another winery, it's a piece of history. Once home to the 18th governor of Oregon and a beautiful farm in its own right. What started as a homestead in the 1800s turned into a large family farm stretching over 300 acres. The 1886 farmhouse still stands next to our tasting room today. We took on the challenge of restoring the Governor's Farm House and breathing new life into the soils to bring the property back to its former splendor. Our goal is to thoughtfully create a testament to this home and its lands, realizing it is an important part of both Polk County and the City of Salem’s history.
