We're Getting Married

"It's a match!" as the words flash on the screen and quirky bells chime on both Jess and Kyle's phone. With big hopeful smiles we both scanned each others profiles. This was Kyle's first match after joining OkCupid and there were already sparks between us with that first conversation. After a few weeks of texting we wanted to meet in person. There were feelings of nervousness, and uncertainty as Covid-19 was spreading throughout the world. But we were determined to embark on our first date, before all the doors shuttered and closed; with the hope that love was truly real. So we decided to meet at the Glendale Galleria, the source of all love and happiness, right? As Kyle sat patiently waiting inside Din Tai Fung, his eyes locked onto this beautiful blonde girl with gorgeous green eyes walking towards him. As Jess nervously sat down she noticed Kyle’s cute little freckles on his face and was happy to see he was just as cute in person as his pictures online. After eating some delicious food, we decided to fight some bad guys in the word of virtual reality along side Jess' favorite marvel character, Iron Man! But the conversations and fun didn't end there. We went to get drinks at Underdogs were we played Jenga and signed a brick "Jessica & Kyle First Date 1/19/2020". I think it was in this moment we knew there was something special between us. That magical night was sealed with butterfly kiss we will never forget! Four years past the pandemic, Jess and Kyle still buzz with love, as Kyle's Firefly and Jess' Panda.
