Our journey to forever begins

We met how many couples meet these days - a dating app called Bumble. Our first date was in the Upper East Side at a restaurant called The Penrose. We quickly realized that we both shared many of the same interests and passions - we bonded over everything from fitness to family. We stayed until they closed for the night and knew at that point that this was something special.

There were two things that Keith knew had to be there on the day of our proposal - our family and our puppy Ollie. After all, it was Ollie's first birthday! That morning, we took Ollie for our normal walk throughout Carroll Gardens, and Keith had our family sneak into our apartment while we were out. Upon returning, Keith asked me to reach into Ollie's jacket, where there was a heart-shaped stone that said "Will You Marry Me?". I turned around to see Keith on one knee, ring in hand. Once it sunk in and I of course said "Yes!", we all went into the apartment where our family was waiting, ready to celebrate! The last surprise of the day was a scavenger hunt that Keith made (something he is known to do) which led us all to Bar San Miguel, a local Brooklyn restaurant, where our friends were waiting to surprise us and celebrate the rest of the day! It was a day we will never forget.
