Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire (we encourage color!). Please avoid bridal tones (this includes whites or any colors tones that may be confused as white). Please keep in mind that the temperature in Merida is hot at this time of year when choosing your attire.

Por favor de usar vestimenta semi formal o formal. Favor de no usar tonos de novia (color blanco o vestimenta de color que pueda ser confundida con el color blanco). Merida es mu calida durante esta temporada, asi que tengalo en consideracion cuando eliga su vestimenta.

Unfortunately due to financial and space limitations, we will not be able to accommodate children.

Desafortunadamente no. Debido a limites economicos y de espacio, no podemos accomodar a los niños dentro de la boda.

It is considered one of the safest cities in Mexico.

How can I get around?

Answer

Car Rentals: Please be aware of high insurance fees. Some credit cards will cover this for you. We recommend looking into this if you are interested as the price quite high. Ride share: You can download DIDI or UBER. We would encourage you to have cash on hand (Pesos) since that is the preferred payment method. There are also taxis, but that may require some basic Spanish communication. Public transportation: The city has buses. It may require some prior route research. Please bring cash and change (pesos). To let the driver know you are getting off, say "BAJAN" (bah-han). Walking: Downtown area is perfect for a stroll!
