Yes! There is a mandatory coat check in the main lobby of the Belvedere at no charge to the guest. There will be staff present to guide you.
There is on street parking of course and it's free after 6pm in some places downtown, but this is not highly recommended unless you plan on getting downtown incredibly early just to look for parking. Getting downtown really early does have benefits, so you might want to aim to get there early as the ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm. The highly recommended option: There is a parking garage available through the Belvedere that costs $10 for the evening with an entrance on Charles Street. Your car will be secure there and you can access the lobby right from the garage.
Absolutely! If at all possible, please aim to get downtown early and plan for after work traffic. There's an incredible bar and restaurant called the Owl Bar: The Original Speakeasy right in the Belvedere. If you get there early , you could get a bite or drink at any one of the surrounding area bars/restaurants, or go right into The Owl Bar in the Belvedere and have a little something there. The building itself, built in 1903, serves as a little art deco museum; it's perfect for walking around before the ceremony and making some very interesting discoveries.
