They met as mutual friends on Facebook. They were friends for years before Justin finally reached out to chat. Once they started talking, they couldn't stop. He finally asked Jessica out, and they met for coffee at Starbucks. They sat at Starbucks until closing, just talking for hours. From then on, they knew that this was something real! Justin asked Jessica to be his girlfriend just a few months later on 3.15.19. He professed his feelings for her, and they've been growing their love together ever since.
Justin always tells the story best, so read below to hear his planning for this special night... The planning started in October, but I had known well before then that I wanted to marry Jessica. Once we decided that we would for sure take our trip to Egypt, I knew that would be the place where I would pop the question. It took a LOT to keep her from suspecting anything. There were many texts between myself and Dani (Jessica's maid of honor and best friend) on the ring that Jess wanted, many trips to jewelry stores, and a lot of back and forth on what would be the perfect ring for the woman I wanted to call my wife. Once I finally had the ring, it all became about the setup for where on the trip I would pop the question. With the help of our travel crew, I decided that with us being in Africa and staying near it, the perfect place would be right on the Nile River itself. After that, I asked for her hand from her parents, and once I got their permission, all I had to do was wait for the big day. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous as this would be a monumental moment in both of our lives, but I knew that this would be the moment that we would both forever remember, reminisce, and enjoy. On the evening of 6.6.22 while on the Nile River, I dropped to one knee and said, "Jessica Nkechi Ochei, will you marry me?"
They're getting married on 4.21.23, to commemorate the first day Justin said "I love you." They hope you can join them in another chapter of their love story as they become #ForeverJesstin!
