The ceremony and reception will be held at Hidden Springs Ranch, 56357 US-40, Granby, CO 80446. From Denver, head west on I-70 and take US-40 north through Winter Park — it's about a 2-hour drive depending on traffic. We recommend coming up for the weekend and giving yourself a little extra time, especially if you're not familiar with mountain driving!
Cocktail Attire: Our ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside the barn, bring some layers in case it gets cold at night!
Hidden Springs Ranch has very limited parking, so we strongly encourage guests to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service (tips highly encouraged for the driver!) We'll have a 25-person shuttle bus picking up from two locations in Granby (details coming soon) every 20-ish minutes before the wedding and again starting at 9pm for return trips. If you'd prefer to drive, carpooling is a great option to help keep parking manageable for everyone.
We have a discounted room block at Sun Outdoors Granby — call their local office at (970) 557-0200 and mention the Rollstin wedding party to save $40 on your stay (2-night minimum). Please book by May 22nd to take advantage of the discount. We also have a list of other nearby hotels on our Travel page, and there are plenty of short-term rentals in the area on Airbnb and VRBO if you'd prefer that vibe!
August in the mountains is beautiful, but it comes with its own quirks! Daytime temperatures in Granby are typically in the mid-70s°F, but evenings can drop into the 50s, so bring a layer. Our ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be inside, so you'll want to be prepared for both. Colorado summers also bring afternoon thunderstorms fairly regularly, so don't be surprised if we get some rain, it usually passes quickly. We'll have a plan in place to keep everyone comfortable no matter what the weather brings!
We're so excited to have you join us in the mountains! A few things to keep in mind: Granby sits at around 8,000 feet elevation, which can catch you off guard if you're coming from lower altitudes. We recommend arriving a day early if you can to give yourself time to acclimate. Drink plenty of water, take it easy your first day, and be mindful that alcohol hits a little harder up here than you might be used to. You'll feel great once you're acclimated, just give yourself a little time!
The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. We ask that guests arrive between 3:30 and 4:00 PM to get settled before we get started. We'd love to start on time!
