Micklethwait Craft Meats BBQ & Catering
Notably you will be consuming a LOT of Tex Mex BBQ (Valentina's!) on Saturday night but if you need to increase your red meat intake we love Micklethwait! This is a great picnic-style spot where you can get BBQ from a trailer. Heads up the line can be long (but there's beer while you wait!) Our next recommendation for BBQ is Terry Black's
Austin Rowing Club
Austin Rowing Club is located right next door to The Line and is a great spot to rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards by the hour. You can explore up and down the Colorado River and Lady Bird Lake! We want to point out that it is NOT safe for dogs to swim in the lake as there is often poisonous algae so PLEASE be careful with your pups!
Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail
Start at The Line and take a walk, jog, or easy hike around the 15 mile trail
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
In case you get bored of the hotel pool and want a more ~natural~ vibe you can check out Barton Springs pool!
Lazarus Brewing Co.
A fun outdoor spot with great food and beers and another brewery (Zilker) right next door in case you want to hop!
Veracruz All Natural
This great taco spot is in The Line hotel and they make their own corn tortillas and have lots of delicious vegetarian and breakfast taco options
P6 at the LINE Austin
We know we've been hyping the hotel a lot but that's because it has so much to offer! The bar upstairs at the hotel is actually the 6th floor of the parking garage and has fun drinks and snacks with a beautiful outdoor wrap around area to enjoy a sip before events!
Lone Star Riverboat
If you have an extra evening to spare, right across the Congress Avenue Bridge is Lone Star River Boat. They'll take you on a 1-hour cruise around Lady Bird Lake to see the bats come out under the bridge at sunset. You can also just sit around under the bridge by the bike path and see them come out at night for free!
