Josiah and Jessica met for the first time at a young adults group at church. Jessica had noticed Josiah across the room worshipping during church before, and knew he was active in serving with the kids. They began to see each other more through their friend group and became the best of friends. They grew their friendship the most when they took a trip to the Passion Conference. That was when Josiah started to see Jessica as more than just a friend. On the night they got back from the airport, they talked in the car for 2-3 hours, getting to know each other more. A month later, Josiah expressed his intentions to Jessica. They spent the next 3 months praying, evaluating, and continuing to pursue each other. On April 3rd 2022, Josiah asked Jessica to be his girlfriend. As a couple, they enjoyed leading a bible study together for their friends through Romans. In August, Jessica went off to school to pursue her degree in physical therapy. Every visit from Josiah was so special to her, and they enjoyed talking on the phone nightly. After two years of college, Josiah moved to PA to be closer to Jessica and pursue a career as an Electrician. On January 31st 2026, Josiah asked Jessica to marry him at the spot where they would meet to hang out during their time of long distance. It was the easiest Yes for Jessica. As they prepare for marriage, they're growing together and learning how to best put Jesus at the center. They desire to serve and prioritize each other for the rest of their days.
