We’re getting married!

Josh and Jess first met when Jess’s older brother had brought his new friend home to meet his family. Josh was a few years older and, although had no interest in his new friends little sister, she formed an immediate crush on her brothers friend. As time passed, Jess and Josh ran track and cross country together. Her first year on the team was also Josh’s last. Jess quietly kept crushing, HARD. At the time a 4 year age gap would be *scandalous* and the thought of someone other than Jess’s best friends knowing who her crush was, was embarrassing. All the while Josh just saw Jess as his best friends little sister. Josh ended up leaving New York for a few years when he joined the Marine Corps. They both had eachother on social media, and would have occasional conversations. Those conversations consisted of the basic; “how are you?” “What have you been up to these days?” “Anything new going on?”. But each random message made Jess’ heart throb more. Jess was a junior and josh had come home for a visit. During his visit he came to see his old coach, and at the time Jess’s coach. It was a meet day and Jess saw Josh walk through the gates. She didn’t know it yet, but after alll those years of not being noticed, and just seen as “Davey’s little sister” her crush was about to see her as a little bit more. Josh didn’t like thinking his best friend’s sister was cute. And when his visit was over and he had to leave again, he had a hard time seeing Jess as, “just Davey’s little sister” on social media. Jess finally graduated and Davey(Jess’s brother/Josh’s Best friend) and Princess were getting married the same summer. Josh came home to be Davey’s Best man, and Jess was one of Princess’s Bridesmaids. At this time Josh and Jess hadn’t talked too much for about a year. And they both were in relationships at the time of Davey and Princess wedding. Josh and Jess both kept finding one another staring at eachother that night. But they both steered clear of one another. After Princess and Davey’s wedding Josh and Jess didn’t talk for over a year. During that time they both had ended their relationships, and Josh officially moved back to New York. Josh was sick of seeing Jess post on social media, he wanted to see her in person. One fateful morning he texted her. The text Jess had been waiting for. Jess’s crush finally asked her out on a date. For the first few months, Josh and Jess kept their relationship slow and quiet. But as time went on they both grew more in love with each-other. After 13 years of Jess hopelessly crushing on Josh, almost 6 years of dating, 2 dogs and 2 kids later. They are finally tying the knot!
