Question

Are Children Invited?Are Children Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only event, with the exception of immediate family children ages 10 and up. We hope you can take the night off and celebrate with us!

Question

When Should I RSVP?When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 20, 2026. We kindly ask everyone to RSVP by the deadline so we can plan accurately. If we don’t receive your RSVP, we will assume you’re unable to attend. If you run into any issues or need extra time, just reach out—we’re happy to help!

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction? What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please indicate any dietary needs when submitting your RSVP. You’re also welcome to text us, in addition to noting your dietary restrictions in the RSVP, and we will make sure that you are accommodated.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’d love to include everyone, but due to space, plus-ones are limited to those explicitly listed on the invitation. If your invite includes a guest, you’re welcome to bring them — if not, we can’t accommodate additional guests.

Question

Where can I stay during the wedding weekend?Where can I stay during the wedding weekend?

Answer

We have several hotel blocks available, all conveniently located near our venues. You can find full details and booking links on our ‘Travel’ page on the website. We recommend reserving early to ensure availability!

Question

What is the wedding day timeline? What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 2:00–3:00 PM at Saints Peter & Paul Parish, 2490 N Cramer St, Milwaukee, WI 53211. After the ceremony, there will be an hour and a half break before the reception begins at The Ivy House, 906 S Barclay St, Milwaukee, WI 53204 at 4:30 PM.

Question

How far is it from the ceremony to the reception? How far is it from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony at Saints Peter & Paul Parish is located in Milwaukee’s East Side, and the reception is in the Third Ward. It’s about a 10–15 minute drive or rideshare between the two locations, depending on traffic.

Question

What should I do during the break between the ceremony and reception? What should I do during the break between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

During the break, guests are welcome to head back to their hotel, relax, or explore the neighborhood! We recommend checking out some great bars and cafes around town (see our Things to Do page for local favorites). Since guests are responsible for their own transportation between venues, rideshare (Uber/Lyft) are great options.

Question

What is the Wedding Attire? What is the Wedding Attire?

Answer

Our wedding is Black Tie Optional, which means tuxedos and formal gowns are absolutely welcome, but not required. Suits, cocktail dresses, and elegant attire are all perfectly appropriate too. Because it’s a Spring wedding, lightweight fabrics and breathable styles are encouraged to stay comfortable and chic, weather permitting.

Question

Is there a welcome party? Is there a welcome party?

Answer

Yes, and all guests are invited! Our welcome party will be held on Friday from 7:00–10:00 PM at Copper on King, 1019 N Doctor Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53203. Drinks and appetizers will be provided, and while attendance is optional, we hope you’ll stop by! If you’re up for continuing the fun afterward, there are several great bars just steps away — Who’s on Third, Old German Beer Hall, Deer Camp, and Oak Barrel Public House.

Question

What is the Welcome Party Attire? What is the Welcome Party Attire?

Answer

Welcome party attire is casual! Jeans, sundresses, cute tops — anything you’d wear for a fun Friday night out. Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable for an evening of drinks, appetizers, and mingling.

Question

Will transportation or other expenses be covered? Will transportation or other expenses be covered?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation and any meals or drinks outside the welcome party and reception. Ubers/Lyfts are recommended between venues and for exploring Milwaukee.
