I'm the bride's sister, so I've known Jess her entire life! Growing up with her was like growing up with your best friend. Because of this, I've always had a partner in crime for staying up past our bedtime, sneaking upstairs to snoop under the tree Christmas morning, and filming/editing our own music videos. This was a closeness that continued into adulthood where we ended up living together for the last two years. Our adult adventures turned to playing team sports, painting canvases, and having movie/wine nights together. I'm so excited to be a part of this wedding and to see where Jess and JC's adventures take them in the future!

Hello! My name is Josh Cervenka (the other JC) and I am the lifelong, better looking brother to Joseph Robert Cervenka. I have known JC almost all his life, so you can imagine the stories I have of him. I will be the Best Man to him and his lovely soon-to-be-wife, Jessica. As a brother, I am very proud of the man he has grown into and am very excited for the wedding!

Hi! I met Jess in 1st grade on the playground. When a kid tried to steal Jess's jump rope, I jumped in (haha) to defend her. Little did I know that I had made a forever friend that day. Jess and I have been through a lot together. From being elementary school basketball teammates, college roommates, coworkers, studying in Pennsylvania for a semester, getting our first apartment together and graduating from college, I honestly don't know where I would be without this girl. I'm so happy to stand next to my best friend on her big day!

At the beginning of my 2nd grade year, I had the privilege of meeting JC, who would eventually grow to be my lifelong friend, mentor, & brother I never had. Whether we were in our youth pretending that we were seagulls from Finding Nemo, digging holes in the woods, or talking about our life goals after college together, JC & I stuck together. It didn't matter if I needed advice or help with my math homework; I had a friend there to help. I am thankful God put JC on this Earth because our friendship, along with the rest of our friends, means the world to me. JC is always there for me & for this reason I am so happy that he and Jess have found love within each other & I couldn't be more excited to see them starting their lives together with family, friends, & God on their side. Love you man.

My name is Kaitlyn and I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love traveling and spending time with family, and when I combine the two, it is even better! I grew up in Detroit Lakes, so I still enjoy spending time on the lake or around the campfire during the summers. I got to meet the beautiful Jessica at the greatest place on Earth, Camp Sioux! For those of you who don't know, it is a camp for children with type one diabetes. I would't trade anything for meeting Jessica including being diagnosed! I would go as far as saying this disease is worth it just to have met and get to know Jessica and the other awesome people at camp.

I met JC nearly 20 years ago, in 1st grade. He was the new kid in Bemidji & I remember thinking, "That kid's hair is really red." Then we got in line for lunch & the new red head from DL is next to me. From then on, JC & I were best friends. As you can imagine, there have been many memories. In 3rd grade JC, Jordan, & myself started a "squirrel club" because we loved "Scrat" from the movie Ice Age. A few years later we were playing a game at JC's house & I accidentally ran over a newly planted apple tree (Sorry Barry). High school was filled with hanging out, video games, & sports & we were lucky enough to continue that through college. I consider myself lucky to have JC as one of my best friends. I love you buddy; I'm so excited to see you & Jess get married & make new, amazing memories.

I met Jess when she sat next to me in one of our classes in college at MSUM. If you ask her she'll tell you the reason she sat next to me is because I "looked the least intimidating in the class", but I'm glad she did. We became fast friends! I remember giving each other compliment tear-off tabs from papers posted around campus almost everyday for a semester! Jess stood by me when I married my best friend so I am so honored to stand next to her while she marries her "Prince Charming"!

Hi! My name is Danny and I'm JC's crazy freind/roomie who he met during our Disney College Program back in 2014 and the real reason why he still comes back to Florida. We went on some pretty amazing adventures during out time at Disney, from meeting princesses, to riding rides over and over again, to conducting the nighttime spectaculars. We still continue this every time he comes back home to visit on his annual Disney trip. Still after all this time he's been my bestest friend and we have been there for each other no matter the distance. I'm so honored to stand beside him on his very special day as he gets married to the most perfect girl. Coconut and Watermelon forever. This wedding is going to be legend...wait for it... DARY!

Hi! I'm a friend of Jess & JC. In high school, I attended a TEC retreat for confirmation. I was blessed to meet amazing people who's faith was admiring and radiant, one being JC! I was quickly able to tell how passionate he was about his faith. In college, I applied for a job at Family Wellness. I got the call & was so excited to work there! When I started, I learned the basics from a coworker named, Jess! She was so welcoming & wasn't afraid to let me know it was ok to run late. ;) Later, I saw a picture of JC & his girlfriend on Facebook. I liked his photo & then realized she looked VERY familiar. The next day, I awkwardly asked Jess if she was JC's girlfriend. Obviously she said yes & this was just the start to a beautiful friendship! I can see many reasons why God put them together!

Our friendship started in college when I assumed he didn't like me very much. After 2 months of working on the same staff, a series of serendipitous events put us at a table sharing some of our life stories. It was this evening that I realized JC was a person I needed in my life. My wife can tell you that I developed quite the man crush on JC, always worried I was doing something to hinder our friendship. On top of being a stellar person, JC's relationship with Christ was inspiring & a reminder of what I wanted my spiritual journey to look like. I needed a friend who would challenge me to be a better person & follower of Christ. Having JC fill that role continues to be a blessing. I was lucky enough to have him stand by me at my wedding & I am so blessed to stand by him as he marries Jess.

I am JC's big sister! I met Jess shortly after her and JC first started dating and she instantly got the "big sister approval". I'll never forget watching Jess and JC dancing at my own wedding and thinking to myself, "I can't wait until THEIR wedding someday!" I have loved getting to know Jess more and more these past few years. From black Friday shopping, to doing the "Floss" dance on a mountain ridge in Maui, and now getting to be a part of her big day- I am so thankful for the beautiful friend she is, and has become in my life. :) Jess is now a huge part of our family and my life, and I feel so blessed to be gaining such a wonderful sister-in-law.

I first met JC when he was my RE teacher in 8th Grade at St. Joes. At the time I had no idea he was going to become my brother-in-law. Over the last four years I have gotten to know him quite well. I was lucky to have him as my confirmation sponsor. He guided me through my confirmation process, helped me understand my faith, & why I am Catholic. We got to know a lot about each other during life chats over coffee (much like old women would do), & had more bro time road tripping to Indiana. 10 hours in a car can seem long, but when there's good conversation & sick beats, it goes by quickly. From all the times I've spent with JC and seeing how he is with Jess, I couldn't think of a better addition to our family. I've always wanted a brother & now I'll have the best one I could ask for.
