The Wedding Website of Jessica DeLeon and Jory Hernandez
Question

Will I be staying in the castle, or do I need to find lodging nearby?

Answer

Yes! As of right now, we have enough rooms in the castle and boathouse to hold all guests. There are 18 castle rooms and 9 boathouse rooms on castle grounds. We will be deciding who stays in which rooms as the date gets closer. If for any reason you do not want to stay in a room on castle grounds, please reach out to Jessica or Jory to let them know. We will also update the "travel" tab up top with hotels nearby that include shuttles to and from the castle. Please check our website periodically for updates! NOTE: If we choose you to stay in a castle or boathouse room, the price per night will be paid for by you upon arrival, or upon check-out. RESERVATIONS CAN NOT BE MADE IN ADVANCE.

Question

How much does it cost to stay in the castle?

Answer

The bedroom rate in the castle is €199 per room per night based on two people sharing, and €145 per room per night based on one person single occupancy. Breakfast is included both the morning of and the morning after the wedding, and dinner will also be included both nights. In total, there are 28 bedrooms available at the castle, 19 rooms in the castle itself and 9 bedrooms available in the adjacent boathouse. A few of the castle bedrooms will be reserved for us (duh) and the wedding party/close family. The rest of the rooms can be reserved by you upon arrival on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday. We do ask that if you stay in a castle room, you reserve the room for both nights. Thanks so much!

Question

What do I need to wear to the ceremony?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal attire is preferred for the ceremony. Wear what ever colors you would like, other than copper or navy blue. Obviously please do not wear white, or we will immediately have you physically removed from the grounds (just kidding... but seriously).

Question

What is the food and drink situation?

Answer

There is a buffet-style dinner at the castle the evening before the wedding, which includes a variety of foods ranging from Mediterranean cuisine to pastas. As most of you know, the bride (Jess) is gluten free so there will be some gluten-free options, as well as plenty of vegetable options for vegetarians. Both the morning of the wedding and the morning after the wedding, breakfast will be served for castle room guests only. Additionally, a four course dinner will be served after the ceremony for all attendees. The castle has a bar on site, open from 2pm until 2am both the day before and day of the ceremony. It is a cash bar (not open-bar). The only alcoholic beverages you won't have to purchase are a half-bottle of wine per person with the dinner.
