Jordan and I met at one of his basketball games. We realized that we went to school together and became really close friends after that. We remained friends for 2.5 years and just continued to do life as great friends! In July of 2020 I had asked Jordan to attend prom with me and when this happened our relationship began to grow and grow until we were dating.

Jordan had a whole plan for how he thought the engagement was going to go. He had planned to have the whole family over from both sides so that we could celebrate after, but plans changed. He bought the ring and decided that he couldn't wait that long to make me his fiancé. Two days after he purchased the ring Jordan and I were playing a very competitive game of Mario Kart (which I was losing in) and I said that "you better propose to me for making me play this game." Little did I know what was coming later that evening. Jordan and I were sitting in front of the Christmas Tree in the Rush Household listening to soft piano music and enjoying the soft glisten of the tree. Next thing I knew Jordan was standing right in front of me with a ring box in his hand and with no hesitation and a huge hug and kiss I said YES!
