We first met in high school through our mutual best friend, Allison Motz—known back then as Ally Rothenburg. From the moment we were introduced, a quiet but powerful bond began to form—one we didn’t fully understand at the time, but that would stay with us through the years. Life took us in different directions as we pursued careers, traveled, navigated Jon’s military service, and raised children of our own. Yet, through the small moments life offered us, we stayed connected. That connection never faded—it simply waited for the right time. In 2023, we reconnected. What started as a reconnection quickly became a rediscovery of the bond we had always shared. Over the past two years, we’ve taken our time, grown together, and embraced the joy of becoming “us” again. Slowly and intentionally, we’ve blended our families and built a life rooted in love, trust, and shared history. Now, we step into this next chapter—hand in hand, hearts full, and ready for forever.
