We met at the start of the Covid pandemic. Not having the freedom to date conventionally, over the summer of 2020, we spent many hours lying on the beach and kayaking the waterways of Wilmington, NC. During August, JP ended his career in the United States Marine Corps, beginning a new chapter of his live with Jess in Wake Forest, NC. She moved into campus housing and he was able to move nearby until his classes started in January. In the following months, JP and Jess pursued schooling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, adopted a handsome pup named Winslow, and spent their weekends traveling to visit family and friends accross the states. Now, during the long months of winter, they are patiently awaiting their wedding celebration!
