We will be sending out paper invitations closer to our date to remind you to RSVP online, but if you already know that you will or will not be attending our wedding, we kindly ask you to fill out the online form at your earliest convenience. We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. For men, suits and ties are appropriate. For women, cocktail dresses or dressy attire is perfect. We're excited to celebrate with you in style!
Yes! We will be scheduling tours of both the campus and stadium at different times throughout the weekend. Please check back closer to the date for a detailed schedule of when the tours will take place.
Yes, transportation will be provided for our guests staying at the Embassy Suites. A shuttle service will be available to take you from the hotel to the ceremony, return you to the hotel after the ceremony, and provide transportation from the hotel to the reception and back again at the end of the evening. Please stay tuned for a detailed shuttle schedule, which will be shared closer to the date.
We kindly ask that you arrive at the venue between 10:30 - 10:50 AM. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM.
Enter campus via the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Holy Cross Drive (main entrance) or along Angela Boulevard (either Twyckenham Drive or Leahy Drive). Proceed to any gate and let the attendants know you are attending a wedding at the Basilica. The attendants can help point you in the right direction if you are unfamiliar with campus. You may be dropped off in front of the Basilica or drive and park in the Basilica, Grotto, or St. Liam parking lots! We suggest planning for 10 minutes to navigate from the gate to the parking lot and from the parking lot to the Basilica.
Because the ceremony is a Catholic mass, we request that this be an unplugged ceremony. Please put away and silence all devices. We have an amazing photographer who will be capturing moments from the ceremony which we will happily share with guests.
There is a parking garage at the corner of Main Street and Colfax Avenue and at the DoubleTree by Hilton/First Source Bank Complex, as well as, street parking. Please make sure to drive only if you plan on not drinking! Otherwise, consider ubering or using our transportation services!
The South Bend Airport (SBN) is small and less than 15 minutes away from campus. Just keep in mind, flights tend to have a premium for the convenience. Midway Airport (MDW) is the next most convenient airport and is about a 1 hour 45 minute drive from campus. O’hare Airport has the most convenient flight options and is a 2 hour drive from campus.
