John and Jessica first started dating October 1, 2016. They had both gone to Damascus High School but their paths never crossed romantically until after Jessica graduated college. They moved in together in February of 2018 to Frederick where they lived until June of 2021. They decided to buy a house in April of 2021 and in November they achieved their goal and moved less than 5 minutes away from their old apartment to the other side of Route 40 in Frederick. John and Jessica went to West Virginia to see her family in April of 2021 and while leaving on Sunday April 25 John proposed to Jessica at her mother and grandparents grave site to have her family with them. They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with all of their loved ones and friends!
