We're Getting Married

We met at the Omni Richmond Hotel. Joell was the overnight maintenance man, and I was the hostess at the restaurant. Joell would come to see me every morning at the end of his shift. We always had great conversations, filled with laughter that would leave me in tears. He would always end our chats with the same question: ''Can I have your number?'' I would reply, "No, I don't date people I work with." This went on for about 7months. Then it stopped. One day, at work, I received a call, and guess who it was? Joell! "Can I have your number now that I don't work there anymore?" he asked. I said, "Why do you want my number?" He replied, "I think we could be really good friends, and I miss our morning conversations and that smile." So, I gave him my number, lol. He was right when he said we would be good friends. We were for about a year until those lovely conversations started to change. On 10/14/2014 we made it official.
