What time should guests arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 pm. We ask guests to be seated by 5:45 pm.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

Please RSVP online through this website. There will not be a paper invitation with RSVP card to mail.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Creative Cocktail. We want you to be comfortable and have fun with what you wear at our wedding! For this time of year in Charleston, we recommend guests opt for light and airy fabrics such as chiffon, linen, cotton, or organza. For women: matching separates, midi or knee-length dresses; comfortable dress flats, block heels, or wedges are encouraged (outdoor ceremony). For men: wear your best casual formal attire; tie optional.

What type of venue is Edisto Hall?

Answer

Located within the 643-acre James Island County Park, Edisto Hall is a 3,500-square foot, climate-controlled facility that offers a wonderful vista of majestic live oaks and adjacent grassy meadow.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Public parking is available at Edisto Hall, within James Island County Park.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at the wedding is the greatest gift the bride and groom could ask for! If you would like to honor them with a gift, each wedding registry listed on this website has the option to mail directly to their home. A wedding card box will be at the reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We have a professional photographer for the ceremony and reception. We ask that you reserve personal photography on your phone and/or camera for during the reception so our professional photographer may do their magic during the ceremony with no obstructions. Thank you.

Are children included in this invitation?

Answer

Although, there will be children in attendance, who are closely related to the bride and groom, this special occasion cannot host all children due to the venue space and number of guests permitted. The bride and groom appreciate your understanding.

Will there be food and beverages at the reception?

Answer

The reception will have lite bites and a service station style dinner along with an open bar of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. We hope you enjoy!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

The caterer will provide one vegetarian entree option, but they cannot guarantee meals that are gluten-free, nut-free, and/or dairy-free. Guests are encouraged to ask catering staff at each service station which ingredients are in the entrees and side dishes before enjoying.
