My mom and Jared’s mom were the best of friends and graduated from high school together. So we grew up together and over the years we developed a crush on each other. When I was eight, I told my dad that I was "going to marry Jared whether he liked it or not", little did I know that this one statement would become true. It’s been 13 years and here we are about to get married! We never dreamed that this could be our life, our future but now here we are about to join our two families into one.

We went on a trip to Disney with my family and on the first night we took a fireworks boat cruise. I could tell something was up and something was in the air. As we got out to the middle of the lake to watch the fireworks Jared had movie magic timing. He stands up and the music starts playing, he gets a little nervous but pushes through and pops the question. Which i obviously said YES to! We go to spend the rest of the night enjoying the fireworks and the rest of the week showing all the disney characters my new bling.
